While spending a long weekend in Lecce visiting some friends we decided to drive up to Grottaglie for the afternoon.
Grottaglie is a medieval town in the Salento part of Puglia. It’s about a 20-minute drive east of Taranto and a 60-minute drive north of Lecce. If you’re visiting the area in the near future and wondering if it’s worth the drive the answer is YES.
